What courses do I need to qualify for the California state examination? As of October 1, 2008, the Department of Real Estate (DRE)requires the completion of three courses. Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practices and one elective.
How much time is needed to complete the course and do I need to attend any classes? Each course takes a minimum of 18 days to complete before the final examination can be taken. A fast track program is about 8 weeks for the completion of the three courses. An example of enrollment would begin February 1st for Principles. Student qualify's for the final course examination February 18th, passing with a 70% moves on to Practices with a preset final on March 6th and lastly the Elective with a preset final of March 23rd.
What will I need to request a California State examination date? Upon successful completion and passing of the final examinations, we will provide(emailed)the cerificates for each course which you will send them a copy, along with the eLicensing DRE form and $25 to the Sacramento office.
How difficult are the courses? Each courses has 15-18 chapters with a quiz at the end of each chapter with answers at the bottem of the page. The final examinations have scored close to the student quiz scores.
How long before I receive the course materials and when does my count down days begin? Course materials will arrive within three days of enrollment and count down days begin day of enrollment. Keep in mind of the 18 days is the MINIMUM time frame to qualify for each Course final and Not a window in which you need to cram to finish the course.
